The food label provides important information to the consumer about the ingredients of the product he intends to buy. Regulation 1169/2011/EC defines the framework regarding the correct indication of the ingredients of products, as well as their nutritional value. This information should be clearly stated on the label in a nutrition table and expressed per 100g or 100mL or even per serving of product, following the GDAs (Guideline Daily Amounts) nutritional information system. Furthermore, from December 2023 it comes into force and the legislation EC 2117/2021, where the conditions for the labeling of wines are defined. CheMa Laboratories performs all the necessary analyzes required to determine the nutritional declaration, while it can also guide the customer in the construction or control of the label according to with Greek and European legislation, as well as with the legislation of foreign countries.
